To honor our national anthem, the Baltimore Orioles, Nathan Avrunin’s favorite baseball team, will be wearing unique uniforms on the Sunday, September 15^th game. Starting at 8pm on September 14^th up until Sunday, September 21 at 10 p.m., the uniforms will be autographed and auctioned online as a set.  Mr. Avrunin is proud his team is honoring our national anthem and can’t wait to see everyone patriotically geared up!

Naturally, Mr. Avrunin was excited to hear that a former Archbishop McCarthy pitcher, Brian Gonzalez, bypassed a scholarship with the University of Miami to sign with his favorite team, the Baltimore Orioles. Gonzalez was the Orioles’ first pick, although they had to wait until the third round of the 2014 First-Year Player Draft. Gonzalez was named Florida’s best high school baseball player by Florida Dairy Farmers. Mr. Avrunin looks forward to following a local native’s career with the Orioles.
